The time has finally come for us to reopen our doors for our Splash Children's Ministry! Obviously, Splash will look quite different and we will only be having two services, 9 AM and 12 PM. Families will need to register like we do for church and will get priority for the 9 AM service time.
The following will help to outline how Splash will be conducted, beginning on June 7th and through the foreseeable future.
Those doing the check-in will ask each family checking in if their child has shown any symptoms of sickness within the previous 48 hour period. If so, the leader will not be able to check the child into the room.
Masks will be made available to any leader who wants to wear one. The babies/toddler leaders are the only leaders that have been asked to wear a mask, and for the rest, this is optional.
I ask that you please give us all grace and have patience because our processes will likely need to be constantly adjusted and changed as necessary. This is all quite new for us, and I can assure you that we are going to do the very best that we can to make our services as safe as possible for our leaders and our students. We will do our absolute best to enforce social distancing parameters, but we understand that this will be challenging for some age groups.
As a service for those who may not be ready to return to Splash, we will continue to post online lessons on our YouTube, Facebook and our website. Please feel free to use these resources to worship and teach with your children.
If you have any questions, concerns or comments, please feel free to reach out to Lyndsay Ponder, our Children's Ministry Director at lyndsay@oasisyuma.com.
